About this model
Another desert house structure for Star Wars Legion. I've been experimenting with different shapes based on what I've seen of screen shots of Mos Espa and Mos Eisely from the movies. Plus the terrain photos from the rule book included in the core set. The lid prints seperate, and I just glued it on with a dab of super glue. The little alignment pins are more fragile than I was happy with, but it worked. The painting I did here makes me happy. I think this will become my tabletop standard for desert structures: Prime - Army Painters Desert Yellow Krylon Stone Coarse Texture - Tavertine Tan Thinned paint wash of Raw Sienna (cheap craft paint) Dry brush of Khaki/Tan (cheap craft paint) Dry brush of Linen (cheap craft paint) It really reads as "Sandstone" when done.
