About this model
A small DIY electric table lamp. The light kit I used can be found here: Creative Hobbies® ML2-B6 Small Christmas Tree Wiring Kit, Great for Lighting Small Objects - Amazon.com. Similar light kits can be found at local hardware stores or online. An intentional curved wire channel was designed into the lamp base to facilitate ease of wire assembly. Support is recommended for the first few layers to encompass the bottom radius of the lamp base. The lamp base was printed in PLA, the lamp shade, transparent PLA. There are articles and discussions online that specify and recommend specific settings in order to obtain perfect transparency. I chose to use normal generic settings in order to obtain a diffused effect. Please note that the thumb screw is for decoration alone. Enjoy.
