About this model
A while ago, I made a really quick and dirty draw divider using hot glue and 1/4 inch thickness foamboard. After a couple of years of use, that system gave out (it really was hacked together), so I needed a new solution. This time, I've put together this really simple clip-on connector system. This will let me adjust the dividers as needed, or break it all down and rearrange as needed. The clips are designed to be a little snug, with a 4.75mm channel that hugs the foamboard nicely. The design time I put into the Fusion 360 side was probably 15 minutes for all three of the components (cross-connector, t-connecter, and end cap). I may go back in and create a parameterized version of these so they can be sized to different material widths and depths.
