About this model
This clip fits on the rim of a Lowe's 5-gallon bucket and holds the hose in place when you're trying to clean your fish tank with a siphon or pump. It keeps the hose from flying out of the bucket and spraying water everywhere. Although I really like the design of the original, I set out to solve three problems: - The clip arm extension would easily break off - The arm wasn't long enough to fit on my Lowe's 5-gallon bucket - The hose holder was too small for my hose I was not able to get the source file from the original author, so I rebuilt the whole thing in FreeCAD. The result is much stronger than the original and fits a hose with an 18mm diameter. The clip extends far enough to reach the lower rim, and the inner wall gives it something to push against, so it can't wiggle free. This is …
