About this model
A "chassis" I designed to take the staccato handset from ACE. The goal was to use the handset without removal of the FCU or having a second FCU. Note you can slap the bottom of the magazine for reloads, vs the handset grip) and it usually picks it up. Uses the handguard here. This handguard clamps onto a circular barrel nut and is generally pretty cheap ($40). Other handguards may fit that clamp in a similar fashion or could be adapted to fit. Could also print one I suppose. Uses 4-40 heat inserts (RUTHEX) into the assembly half and 4-40 socket head cap screws and a wooden dowel for the "stock".
