Welcome to Thinger. By using the Thinger website (thinger.rocks and api.thinger.rocks) or the Thinger mobile app (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Thinger is

Thinger is a search and discovery engine for 3D printable models. We index publicly available listings from third-party platforms (such as Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, Cults3D, Printables, and MakerWorld), show you previews and metadata, and link you to the original listing. Thinger does not host, store, sell, or distribute any 3D model files. Every download happens on the original platform, under that platform's own terms and the creator's chosen license.

2. Third-party content and attribution

All models shown on Thinger were created and published by third parties. Model names, images, descriptions, and tags belong to their respective creators and platforms. Thinger displays them for discovery purposes with attribution and a direct link to the source. Thinger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any source platform or creator.

3. Removal and takedown requests

If you are a creator or rights holder and want a listing removed from Thinger's index, contact us through the contact option in the Thinger app or via the channels listed on thinger.rocks, including a link to the Thinger page in question. We remove reported listings promptly. Because we index from public sources, a model removed at its source will also drop out of Thinger automatically during routine re-checks.

4. Functional and safety-sensitive designs

Some indexed listings depict functional items, including sports equipment, tools, and firearm accessories, published by third parties on their original platforms. For any such item:

• Thinger does not manufacture, sell, endorse, or verify any design, and does not host the files.
• You are solely responsible for confirming that downloading, printing, possessing, or using an item is legal in your jurisdiction before doing so.
• Printed parts are hobbyist-made and untested. Never rely on a 3D printed part in any safety-critical application.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to infringe intellectual property, to scrape or bulk-harvest content in a way that burdens the Service, or to misrepresent the origin of any model or creator's work.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, or printability of any indexed listing, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or of any third-party file it links to, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
