About this model

Pottery Banding Wheel made with a heavy duty thrust ball bearing to handle the weight of large clay pieces without getting stuck. Uses a thrust ball bearing to handle axial load instead of the usual skate board ball bearings. The banding wheel measures ~6 inches diameter. I have another model for a ~10 inch diameter that the same thrust ball bearing can be switched into. Needs additional hardware to assemble: - 1 x 51120 100mm x 135mm x 25mm thrust ball bearing (Lubricate the bearing with synthetic multipurpose oil for the fastest & smoothest spin speed. Do not use grease as it will lower the spin speed.) - 1 x M8 40 mm long bolt - 1 x M8 washer - 1 x M8 nut There are __2 3D printed pieces__. Bottom is for the bottom of the banding wheel.
