About this model
My parent's front yard will flood with up to 4 inches of water in heavy rain. I've told my dad for years that it would be a lot of fun to run an RC boat when this happens. I decided to make one for him for father's day. I decided on an airboat to avoid the prop getting fowled in debris or weeds and to allow if possible for it to slide across the grass from his front door to the temporary lake. To complete you will need: Micro servo 5" propeller (I used a 5045x3) Motor (I used a 2204-2300 multi-rotor motor) ESC (I used a 20amp multi-rotor esc made bidirectional with blheli) RX of your choice RC car body pins 3mm screws Battery (I used 3s 1300mah) Glue for plastic components
