An enclosure for M.2 to USB cellular modem adapters. I made two versions of this enclosure for the following adapter cards found on Amazon: EXVIST 5G LTE USB Adapter M.2 (NGFF) to USB 3.0 Dongle with SIM Card Slot IMO this was the better of the two adapter cards. It comfortably fit a RM520N-GL and the removable SIM tray works well. Xiwai M.2 Key-B NGFF WWAN to USB 3.0 Riser Card Adapter w SIM Slot This seems to require a lower profile M.2 card and requires removing the board from the enclosure to change the SIM The enclosure consists of two pieces, base and a lid. The card sits in the base without any securing screws, and the lid slides in. There is a rectangular shaped gap in the base to fit antenna pieces. I found that minimal __supports are needed__ specifically for the long gap in the …
