About this model

I regret mounting the scale on the tailstock side originally. Seems like I had a hassle evry time I tried to drill a hole. I've moved it to the chuck side. Much simpler installation & the form fit & function of tailstock, gib screws, gib lock & carriage lock are restored to factory specs. Max turnable diameter over scale is 6", same as over cross-slide. Oops, the follow rest holes are buried. Suppose I'll have to remove scale if I need it. These are prototype parts to verify form, fit & function before commiting to metal. Also used as templates to locate holes drilled in lathe. Use read hd mnt as shim under bar. Locate bar's shoulder @ 20mm against front of cross-slide. Geometry here is same as previous.
