About this model

DESCRIPTION A press-on TPU cap that covers both lenses of the Insta360 X6. Unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Insta360. Nothing existed for the X6 when it launched, and the X5 cap is too small to fit properly, so I drew one. It slides down over the top of the camera and covers both lens domes. There is a 2 mm air gap over each piece of glass, so nothing in the cap ever touches a lens. Please keep that gap if you modify it. Slots on both narrow sides clear the buttons and give you something to grip when pulling it off. Sized from Insta360's published dimensions for the X6 (50 x 100 x 26 mm body, 40 mm across the lenses) plus my own measurements. It fits a bare camera. If you run a silicone sleeve or lens guards, use the OpenSCAD source and add clearance. Print settings Material:…
