The Temple of Vesta V2 is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by Wpilgrim. I created this model for my wife as she was working on a book about the Vestal Virgins: ancient Roman priestesses who dedicated their lives to watching an eternally burning fire. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
I created this model for my wife as she was working on a book about the Vestal Virgins: ancient Roman priestesses who dedicated their lives to watching an eternally burning fire in their temple. Although the temple is still partially standing, it has mostly crumbled away and very little of the original building is left. Through historical research, we were able to piece together a rendition of how the temple likely looked. I thought the temple would make a great entry into the Thingiversity Art Challenge: See The World Contest, so I tweaked the model to allow for easier printing and assembly and I am re-upload this newer version. I have also added an assembly video Enjoy.
