About this model
Bottle opener made by +Lab in the +Tuo project. Printed with PLA and customizable. The "boomerang" model has been designed to be mono-material (example PLA), the second one needs an extra part, in addition to the handle, printed with smooth materials. This device helps peolple with difficulties in doing movements or activities which requires hand strenght, such as opening a plastic bottle. Simply by placing the palm of the hand on the bottle opener and doing a simple wrist rotation, you can open a bottle with no need to tighten the cap hard. The project won the 1st prize at the 3D print Exhibition during Maker Faire 2013 in Rome.
