About this model
Could you imagine a life where... your filament spools... became fidget spinners? Well, this design basically turns a spool of Hatchbox filament into one! This is the (first?) fully 3D printable spinning filament spool holder that enhances a frictionless filament drive process for both Bowden and direct drive and it simply replaces your back mounted spool holder. This includes two bearings of my own design, made to fit into the inner diameter of a Hatchbox filament spool exactly. The diameter is 54mm so if you have a spool that size, it should fit. I believe it is standard for 1kg spools, but other amounts or brands may differ. I definitely recommend printing the standard bearing first thing:2883933 Only once you get that printed and working should you print the rest.
