About this model

This is the 2nd version of a model of a Roos T645 stake car as used for transporting logs on European railways. The original model (Version 1 can be found HERE). This update introduces comprehensive optimizations for increased stability and prototypical accuracy. In addition to reinforced stakes and stake pockets (0.8 mm) as well as twice as thick, more detailed ends, the bogie mount has been redesigned for robust pin mounting with wire fixation. Furthermore, all main dimensions—including length over buffers (LÜP), car and buffer height, and the NEM coupler pocket alignment—have been fully corrected, and an additional pin was added to the underbody to accommodate longer Märklin tension springs (item no. 353080).
