This design took a little more experimenting than the simpler fruit shapes. I wanted the leaf to keep its recognizable pointed silhouette while still looking soft and almost handmade. The layered red, orange and yellow sections help bring out the natural structure of a maple leaf, while the chunky knitted texture gives the whole piece that cozy,โฆ
