This is a replacement wiper cam bushing for a 1978 chrysler new yorker with intermittent wipers. You will need to modify your existing wiper cam as follows: 1. you will need to drill a hole in the center of the wiper cam. This is not possible with a drill bit first. Not even a drill press will work. You need to use a Dremel rotary tool and a STONE bit. the stone bit will remove the top later of extremely hardened steel. Once that top layer is off you will be able to drill a hole. try and go straight with your drill bit. 2. you will need to tap that hole with thread and put a tiny screw in order to keep the inner part on. This version doesn't just "pop on" the cam. You need to hold it on with a screw. I used metric screw size M3. They sell a drill bit and tap set on amazon that comes with b…
