About this model

These PTFE tube guides will replace the white ceramic pieces that currently guide your filament. After much testing I was able to get the PTFE tube all the way into the filament sensor in the dock, creating a much cleaner and consistent feeding of filament into the printer. I originally just replicated the ceramic white piece with a 4.5mm hole to feed PTFE through but that still left a pretty sharp 25 degree angle hitting the filament sensor and occasionally making it difficult to feed the PTFE into the filament sensor. But I decided to get more creative and put in a bent tube with the angle being resolved and now the PTFE exits pretty much directly into the filament sensor. This has proven to provide a real clean pass through to the sensor. My filament is now feeding almost unimpeded into…
