The 40mm f/1.9 lens cell harvested from a Canon AF35ML can be fun and rewarding to adapt to any modern MILC (mirrorless interchangeable lens camera) with these prints in combination with a focusing M42-mount adapter. Infinity focus is more than guaranteed provided that your focusing solution respects the register distance of M42-Mount (45.46mm). The only tool you'll need for assembly is included, and you'll be able to install a variety of aperture discs if you want to explore how this lens renders at smaller apertures (this is not a landscape lens until you're stopping way, way down). This lens WILL NOT WORK on a SLR (the optics would sit inside the mirror box if they could even fit [they likely cannot]).
