About this model

Seems like there are very few half girdles left on the market and girdled head kits are crazy expensive. Here is my take on a half girdle, the file attached is a .dxf for the top bracket. Mine is made out of 3/8" thick 304SS and I custom made some studs, you might be able to find something out there with the correct length and pitch but it only cost me roughly $15 to make these studs. Remember Yamaha uses M10x1.25, not a standard pitch! This was done on a 701 61x for my superjet, you may have to cut some tabs off the stock head for the studs to clear. I've been running this all 2026 season and have had no issues so I decided I would share the file.
