MTG - Latching Deck Box - Two Piece Print
Source: Thingiverse by GraffitiBatman
The MTG - Latching Deck Box - Two Piece Print is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by GraffitiBatman. Printing in one piece came out very large (almost 10" long) so I attempted to make it two pieces that snap together. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
Printing in one piece came out very large (almost 10" long) so I attempted to make it two pieces that snap together. Updated the model after previous make said the hinges were too difficult to snap together. Printed my build with the following settings: Quality: Low (I always print on low because I'm not a fancy man) Generate support material: yes (45 degrees) Support everything: yes Infill: 25% hexagons I haven't found that objects needing supports (like the hinges on this thing) print well on tape so I use the glue stick method. ****One last revision coming tomorrow, hinge works well now (not hard to snap together) but latch could be a little more snug.
