About this model

The next generation experiments for spinning tops. Now made with rotate_extrude() and plane shapes in OpenSCAD instead of balls and hull() , so it is slightly faster with the standard-version of OpenSCAD... Hello again in the spinning top arena - here are some new models and a changed OpenSCAD-source for your your joy spinning around. The new models have a sphere-shaped hole at the tip to insert a 5mm bearingball - just to find out, if they spin a little longer than on the plastic tip. Now the hole for the driving pin is 6mm which fits a standard round dowel from woodworks. I think I will improve it in the future, so that's all in all in one OpenSCAD-file to modify by parameters, but that's one of the next steps.
