About this model
Thought I'd try my hand at some vase modeling & printing. I was looking through an issue of Dwell magazine, and saw this 'geometric' looking lamp-shade, that was orange. I'd just happened to have picked up a spool of orange PLA at the Maker Faire. Inspiration. And you should pronounce them "vaaaaas', not "vAse" :P Each of the three vases was modeled in Maya out of simple low-poly cylinders, and various "poke" operations applied (among others). About 15 minutes to model each.
