About this model

Easy-to-print case that turns a slim laptop CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive into an external drive. Print it standing up, with the back plate down and the open end up. No supports needed. It takes about 2.5 hours with 20% infill. - Two files: one for 12.7 mm drives and one for 9.5 mm drives - Works with at least two types of slimline SATA to USB adapters: a plug-in one or one with screws (the screws also hold the drive inside the case) - The original front panel of the drive fits flush with the case Warning: The case is made for a standard front panel. If your drive has a custom front panel with a different shape, it may not fit. Use a standard panel or print a compatible one. You will need: a slimline SATA (7+6, 13 pin) to USB adapter. Rubber self-adhesive feet for the bottom are optional.
