About this model

We have had problems on occasion with our truck alarm going off for no reason. (We have a 2019 F350, but I think this configuration applies to all of the F series cabs that have the motion sensor, including the F150). Online research shows I'm not the only one who's had this problem. Some say there is a problem with the system, but I think the issue is more basic than that - the simplest solution is often the best.... Each time we've had this problem, I've noticed that it's in an area, and at a time, when there are flying insects. My opinion - flies in the cab of the truck can set the alarm off by triggering the motion sensors. The truck allows me to set the alarm for perimeter only (excludes the motion sensors), but I have to select this option EVERY time I leave the truck - I cannot make…
