About this model

Acetic acid (C2H4O2, CAS 64-19-7) — a free educational 3D molecular model for teachers and students, by MolGod.org. Each atom is labelled with its own engraved element symbol: no colour chart needed. Teachers who print molecules quickly meet the same gap: the file defines spheres and sticks, but not which element each sphere stands for. Each atom of a MolGod model is engraved with its element symbol, turning a plain print into a self-explaining teaching object. The project aims to let a student work out the arrangement of atoms, the bonds and the geometry of the molecule independently, without a colour key and without waiting for the teacher. It shortens the path from lesson plan to printed model, because no one has to build the molecule or add labels by hand. Curious about the science beh…
