When we play Phase 10 with a big group around our long dining table, we use this caddy to slide the pick deck and discard pile from person to person so nobody needs to stand up to reach a pile, we don't need to maintain multiple pick & discards, and so we have a clear "who's turn is it?" which can help out when we're all gabbing. It's modeled after the cardboard insert that the cards shipped in this tin and fits there so it doesn't add any storage clutter.
