The Red Bull Ring was built in 1969 and is known for hosting sports car, open wheel and motorcycle races – and most notably the Austrian Formula 1 GP. Formerly known as the A1 Ring before its closure in 2004, the circuit in Spielberg was re-opened in its current guise in 2011.
