About this model

As much as taking my Yihua 716D solder handle out of storage when needed isn't the worst thing to do, I wanted it readily available right next to my Yihua 982D SE so I designed this holder with a compartment for the cable. I kept it narrow enough to not leave a big footprint but big enough to accommodate all of it. Just like the built in solder handle holder in the actual solder station, this holder was also designed around the end of the solder handle (the black plastic and metal sleeve). It is a perfect fit. You can see what I mean in the last photo. I recommend keeping the cable coil loose and do not bend it far where the cable meets the handle. This prevents shorts.
