About this model
I was busy designing yet another one of these, but then I came across this very solid looking model by printandplay. My rod is Ø 25mm (I'm using the inner part of an IKEA extendable curtain bar that is no longer in use, but typical wardrobe bars are the same diameter), so I adjusted the inner radius of the bracket to fit this with a 0.5mm extra for tolerance, and it fits very well. I also increased the export quality in openscad ($fs and $fa) to smooth out the part, in the original design you can see the facets on the printed part. (Don't pay any attention to the grubby wall this is attached to, that wardrobe is a work in progress at the time of the photo.)
