About this model

These came about because insects where building mud nests in the drain lines of the Mini Split HVAC units we had installed at our building. The challenge was to design and print these that allow the condensate to drain freely and prevent insects from getting in to nest. This is the result. They are designed one for 16mm and the other for 20.6mm lines. Those dimensions are inside diameter and you knowing that could allow for scaling to similar size hoses. They are a snug slip fit, no clamps needed. Drain testing was conducted from indoor plumbing. I could not overflow these from the bathroom or kitchen faucets. I added the original design that I did. It printed out okay though the holes where almost too small. They did print and well and I used these originally.
