About this model

A custom double-DIN radio pod designed to complement the GC8 Impreza/WRX interior, with a clean, understated shape and a curved dashboard seating base. The housing splits into three printable parts: the base, removable hood and front fascia. Adjustable metal side brackets hold the radio securely with bolts—no glue required—and provide ±6 mm of depth adjustment. Designed around a nominal 180 × 100 × 160 mm bare radio chassis. Includes STL/3MF files, fit-test pieces, metal bracket templates and assembly instructions for a 0.4 mm nozzle. Prototype release: requires fabricated metal brackets, hardware and a vehicle-specific mounting adapter. Check your radio dimensions, dashboard fit and driver visibility before installation. Physical fit and heat testing have not yet been completed.
