This is a simple repair insert. No need to buy new knobs. If you've cracked or broken the inside (green bits) of any of these chromed knobs for this series of amps, with this insert, all you do is break off all the remaining green bits still standing and press this new repair kit (or insert) inside the knob. It's keyed so no worries about orientation. It only goes in one way. (the correct way).
