About this model
This is a remix of maxbaum's highly detailed St. Basil's Cathedral model ( which is in turn a remix of dodo2000's model ( The latter is better printable but misses some unnecessary details such as the ball tips of the towers. The former is more accurate but not entirely printable. I have been inspired by dodo2000's simplification, but aimed to achieve higher fidelity while making the model printable. See pictures for changes I made. My changes of maxbaum's model includes: Fixed a hang-in-the-air unprintable pillar, and beefed it up (original pillar was too thin to be printable) Removed 9 unprintable crosses while keeping the ball tips Removed 10 unprintable overhangs (For those perfectionists, the removed parts are put on a separate plate and you can glue them back to restore maximum fidel…
