About this model
I couldn't find any flanged idlers, that fit the bearings which come with the Anet A8 kit, so I made these. It's designed for 6mm belts and have overall 8mm (resp. 7.6mm) width. I tested them with a standard GT2 (my X axis) and the belt which comes with the kit (my Y axis). This is a temporary solution, as the pulleys do tend to break after some time of using. So I recomend ordering metal pulleys (search for 'gt2 idler pulley 20 teeth 3mm bore'). Nozzle temperature and part cooling are key for printing this. Check the individual layers and make sure, the slicer generates the path for the teeth correctly (i.e. they extend all the way out, like in the screenshot). If the teeth still turn out too small or too smooth, try turning down temperature and slow down the print. I've used a 0.3mm nozz…
