I modified the design here to make it easier. M10 threaded rods are so easy to get anywhere. Only smooth rod you need is 8mm , You dont need LM8UU because you can use printed one. I use it and it slides so nice and is quiet ! the best part. I simplified the 2D joint , for sharpening is good to use these:
