KALLAX Media Riser — Second Visible Tier for DVDs/Blu-rays/Games (Low-Material, One-Plate Print) How it works: Front row sits right on the KALLAX shelf floor. The printed legs sit behind it, holding a wood plank that the back row stands on, plus a shorter upright plank behind that as a lip so the back row doesn't slide or tip backward. Since the back row is elevated, you can read those spines above the front row instead of them disappearing behind it. That back lip also hangs out slightly past the rear of the shelf, acting as a guide against the back of the cube to keep the whole riser from sliding forward — double-sided tape there will lock it in place if you want it fully stationary.
