About this model

Designed this adapter to mount the filament spool holder sideways, making the Ender 3 more compact and space-efficient. I mainly print models under 15 cm tall, so this setup works well for my needs. However, if you want to use the full Z-axis height, the spool may collide with the extruder motor. In that case, this design may not be suitable unless you reposition the spool to the front of the printer. Required hardware for assembly: - 2 × M5 × 20 mm bolts - 1 × M5 nut - 1 × M5 knurled nut Design date: 22 September 2025
