About this model
After I designed the wall mount for my Oculus some requested a desktop mount and here it is, enjoy! It is very easy and quick to place and grab the headset and you do not need any extra weight, it is quite stable as is. However if you'd like to make it even more stable the mount pillar is hollow into which you can glue weights. Alse there are four holes for rare earth magnets if you would rather place it on a metal surface. Dimensions of the magnets is D5x2mm. Dimensions of whole mount is WxLxH=150x198x176mm. For those that can't fit the whole object in their printer I've made a split version. The top part must then be printed with support. Shapeways: Note: Some pictures show the older version that is slightly taller and uses more material.
