Not sure how many people are looking for vacuum mufflers on Thingiverse, but if you are, you've come to the right place! I somehow managed to lose mine so I designed and printed a new one. To my surprise, it works pretty well! The airflow is not noticeably restricted yet the noise dropped from 90 dBa to 79 dBa. See it in action here: Note: I had the inlet open in the garage for testing so the real world sound levels are lower when you're vacuuming in the house. This fits over a 2" pipe exiting the vacuum canister. I've included the Fusion 360 files if you would like to modify for your own vacuum. I used S3D for the slicing and included the supports for the bottom part. You shouldn't need supports to print the internal structures as I have tried to limit the overhangs to 45*. Please excuse …
