About this model
This Soldering Fume Extractor is made for a 80mm 12v computer fan. I made the design with a couple of options. You can mount a toggle switch to power on the unit if you decide this is the route you want (I powered my unit using a 12V 1Amp DC 110v PSU I found on Amazon.ca). If you decide you want to add/design your own switch mount then you will want to print the file that says "without switch". The other option is the front grill which is flat, the other has 4 sides that flare out at about a 10 degree angle, Personally I just went with the flat design, not so sure the other design will be effective. Items you need to complete the build: 80mm Computer 12V Fan Optional Toggle switch to power on/off the unit Carbon Filter (Found on Ebay and cut down to size) 1.25-1.5" bolts with matching nut …
