About this model
This is a customizable 9-volt battery holder. I have included STL files for two holders, one that holds 4 batteries and one that holds 12. The variables at top of the OpenSCAD file are documented if you want to adjust anything. I ended up printing with tolerance set at 2 (a variable in the file) and that is the value used in the STL files; however, I also had success with tolerance set at 1. The only difference is at 1 the batteries were quite snug and wouldn't always fall down when one was removed without some help. I liked the snugness because then the bottom batteries won't slide out the front if it is tipped. But having the batteries be able to fall down was more practical so went with 2. You can play with the value if you want. The good thing is you can tell it to only print a 2 batte…
