About this model
This design is based on a wooden yarn bowl my SO found in a store for >$45. I took some artistic liberty when copying the design. To aid in fulfilling its purpose I made the bottom large and flat while the inside is as smooth as possible to allow for the yarn to roll around easily. I recommend getting a rubber pad or some other kind of anti-slip material to stick to the bottom. I printed this in Colorfabb Woodfill and finished with some light sanding (more on the inside to let the yarn roll smoothly) and a transparent mahogany varnish.
