About this model
This came about during a live stream of Fun King 3D, the subject of Benchy's came up and everyone started mentioning the different iterations of Benchy's and I noticed I had never seen a Submarine Benchy! Not wanting to just do a remix by taking the cabin and putting it on a submarine, took the original concept of the Benchy as an early cabin boat from the 30's or 40's (my interpretation) so I wanted an "older" style submarine, just a little cartoonish. I designed this based on the one man subs the Japanese used during the Pearl Harbor attack, small and simple. the two prints are at 50% and 75%, smaller than 50 and the bars on the windows wont print well. Enjoy! (9-16-18)Slight update, may need a raft depending on printer. Mine printed fine on the CR-10S but the tailfin failed on my Prusa …
