About this model
You can watch a short video of the full make here: The original spirograph made some very neat designs, but it was hard to use. We made the handle bigger so that you have a place for your fingers to press down on. We also added some "pointy bits" on the bottom surface to help keep it in place on the paper. For more complex shapes, try completing one hole, then leave the gear in place, and change colors and do another hole. The ring prints upside down, so be sure to flip it over before you use it. We also made the holes a little larger because not every pen could fit through and collected a couple other spirographs.
