About this model
This is an improved version of my previous heavy duty web buckle that is here: When shopping for plastic web belt fasteners, it seems the only option out there are those side release snap buckles. So I thought I'd add another option! This is a heavy duty slide thru type buckle with a locking cam that, when pushed down, grips the webbing very securely. This latch has three staggered rows of fine teeth that will grip even the smoothest webbing. I've used this with smooth seat belt webbing (that many fasteners don't grip well), and it does not slip at all! Works well with many kinds of webbing and elastic less than 3mm thick.
