About this model
This is a model of the German field howitzer FH-70, fielded in the late seventies. It comes in two versions: V1 shows it in firing position, V2 prepared for self driving mode. This gun was phenomenal accurate, but very training intensive. It took weeks to train the crew in order to make them quick and accurate. It was the first gun I have been trained on, it was a lot of fun. And I still have the allowance to drive it in self driving mode... well, that was almost forty years ago. It s recommended not to print it too small, it has very fine structures. Scale 1:87 is hard to achieve. Better 1:35 or higher. Maybe seperate it prior to printing.
