About this model
I designed this butterfly hairclip as a Christmas present for my mother. It's inspired from one of her hairclips I broke when I was 4. Printing: Hairclip - Infill for structural rigidity, print lying down on the "back" of the butterfly, so that the pins point upwards, supports needed for the wings. Dowel - Infill to add weight and rigidity, print flat, no supports The model is already made to scale. Both parts came up to just about 10g in weight. After printing a bit of sanding and painting was needed. The pins on the hairclip are quite fragile, so caution is advised.
