CURRENTLY HAPPENING - A Kickstarter from EC3D called "Forest of Oakenspire", including modular airships, OpenLOCK tree strongholds, and more! - CHECK IT OUT As part of this KS, I have created a fully modular set of flight bases for epic aerial battles, These come in a variety of formats/sizes from 1"- 3" and height is fully customizable. These stands are designed to use 1/8" acrylic rods for the stands (I used these off Amazon, but they can be had cheaper on Ebay or elsewhere). If you don't wish to buy acrylic rods, there's printable templates for rods in a few pre-sized lengths, but they can be scaled to any size length in your slicer.
