The Flashforge Adventurer 3 (and identical Monoprice Voxel) cannot hold a 1kg spool of filament. This extender allows a spool to stick out the side of the machine with minimal fuss. PLEASE NOTE -- there are TWO configurations for the Adventurer3/Voxel. Looking at the spool holder, you will see either an X/cross shape or a Y (pie divided 3 ways) shape. Please download the spool holder that goes with your machine. I happen to own 6 of these and have both configurations. Both spools have been printed and used.
